Thank you so much for making this straight and easy. You don’t need baking soda, barbercide and long drawn out videos for something so simple. All I ever use is shampoo to clean my brushes/combs but adding apple cider vinegar is a good idea to disinfect them so that’s what I’ll do too.
This is going to sound gross probably, but I never realized I had to clean combs more then removing old hair from them. I just wanted to clean combs I was donating, but now I’m going to clean the ones I’m keeping as well
I take out the hair each time I use the hair comb and wash it with shampoo and baking soda every month. my hair brush is 12 years old now still looks brand new.
No, this will not disinfect your tools how barbacide does, I recommend still issuing barbacide after cleaning them especially if you are using them on others
