The coil may be getting hot off of the 12v but in all reality you shouldn’t be leaving it energized too long without fluid running through it anyway. Typically coil/injectors respond “better” to more voltage (why we run 14 and 16v systems on a lot of race cars) so professionally I wouldn’t think a short hit of 12v would be damaging. Either way, nice to see someone correct themselves and their error and have humility about it No problemo, everyone has it a little wrong at times!
