The deep cleaning paste caption should say, "1 teaspoon of salt, 1 cup of VINEGAR, and flour."

WOW! Thank you for your tutorial. I like that you don't use harsh chemicals, and the Sharpie idea is fabulous. Thanks also for mentioning that they sell markers for this purpose in bronze. I can't wait to work on my neglected sink.

LOL at Step 9. bronze is hard to clean because if you go too hard you can remove the paint. I used a copper brush and while it helped plenty, it was removing the bronze paint and leaving the copper look underneath. Worst case scenario you can repaint the faucet with liquid bronze paint in a can by Rustoleum. It works ok.

Yeah bronze is tricky! No easy way to do it, really! The endless uses of a sharpie...

My sink is horribly designed where all of the water pools up behind the faucet. I hate it so much because its in such a hard place to clean.

if you roll a smooth piece of metal that’s chromed for example (rounded tool handle)and press it hard against the effected area it will break the heavy lime deposits then you can use the vinegar to finish it off
@fixitFlip

@fixitFlip

You can use Lime-a-way on some chrome or stainless steel fixtures, but I wouldn't use it on brass or bronze. It can etch or discolor the metal.

That will neutralize the acid rendering it ineffective. Corn starch is better for vinegar pastes

To whoever is reading this Jesus loves you and he’s coming soon. All you need to do to be saved is believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins was buried and came back to life on the 3d day. Confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and you’ll be saved! I hope to see you in the clouds! God bless!!l

Vinegar neutralize baking soda on contact. Vinegar is acidic and dissolve minerals. You need it to sit and work fir prolonged time. Once you mixed vinegar and soda you started reaction of neutralization, so no it is not a good idea.
