I am fortunate enough to have an air compressor. blowing out all the nooks and crannies out really helps. also, extend the life of the filters.

Very helpful, thank you. We bought our i6+ at the last Prime Day so it was pretty filthy inside. BTW the hex hubs on the brushes come off and ours had a lot of hair in there. I also found it useful to blow dust out with a can of air like you use to clean the inside of a PC. Computer and electronics stores sell it, maybe also at Walmart.
