You are amazing!!! I detailed cars for a Mercedes/Rolls Royce dealership in Ft Worth many years ago. There were great trickks but Magic Erasers were a rhing of the future then. Thank you for the great information. I still like to keep my own vehicle looking oristine and this will work perfectly!!!!

I've subscribed, thank you very much. I haven't gone thru your posts yet, but I plan to today. I have a Lincoln MKS with a white interior that the leather has worn beyobd cleaning. I'm interested in a "fix" for that besides replacement. The car is a 2011 and is pristine otherwise. I wish I'd found you long ago. Again, thank you for your great info. And you don't stand there and explain something for 10 minutes before you work. Thanks for that too!!!!

We use a product called White Cherry interior dressing 🍒

I've actually tried this and found really a sponge would do the same job or even better a microfiber towel. But the thing with this is it won't work on stains, just dirt that can be "erased" with and hand towel.

really? it seems to work on most of the vinyl seats that we have cleaned! but you maybe right I have to look into that thanks for sharing and please dont forget to SUB trying to reach 1000!!!!! 😉

When you say be more cautious with air-conditioning seats, does that mean don’t saturate it?? I’m assuming so as liquid probably isn’t good to get into the holes and mess with the electrical?

Hi. You said the seats were leather but the center portion looks like fabric and not leather, is that right?

Hey there! Actually, technically, the seats are vinyl; which is like a “fake leather” which are in most standard vehicles, but you’re more expensive luxury vehicles like your Mercedes or your Porsche vehicles have real animal leather. But, to answer your question and short; (no) the middle only looks different because the Vinyl is “aerated” they do that to keep airflow in the seats which should help prevent cracking also you will see that in vinyl AND leather seats if the seat is air-conditioned. I hope this helps!

They usually don’t break, but once they do, they start falling apart. They sell high quality ones in bulk on Amazon.

Absolutely!! There’s still one of the best ways to clean leather seats the only gripe I have with magic eraser is as you see in the video they break up and over the years depending on which brand you purchase they’re making them cheaper so they break up quicker I personally still love using them but my team not so much 🫠

@@DetailingSolutions thank you for your quick response, i red lots of blogs and reddits for using magic eraser and most said that it can damage the leather as they are super abrasive. Maybe i will try it and will not put any pressure on it, i will use water soaked magic eraser with diluted apc. Hope this works with dirty leather.

@@princekd6786 Simple green is a cleaning product you can get from any department store and to cut means to cut it with water so one part simple green three parts water basically mostly add water to the spray bottle
