Scary! I did not realise it should be done every day! I do always make sure the wand is cleaned and I do an extra rinse, thanks for that very helpful video. 😊
Nice video. Can’t see many/any people going through this entire process on a daily basis. If you’re in the habit of wiping down the steam wand and purging before and after every use then I’d imagine this thorough cleaning process could be done once or twice per month.
I have the earlier model and only clean the steam tip when the machine tells me too. According to this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-b6y1_4Q0XGU.html it should be done monthly yet the steam tip looks identical to this pro model. Lol the next video that popped up for the same model showed it being done daily. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X2RR1X62gwE.html
Given the wand purges after each use, I’ll run the full clean cycle once a week and my Creatista Uno seems to like it. 👍 Great video, now thinking about grabbing a Pro….
I know the manual says once a day, and my immediate reaction was overlooking. It's just too much. Only once per week, but now you motivated me to do it even often.
I think the key word is found in the name of the machine. Since it ends with the word Pro, the machine could be used at a professional latte stand. It could produce dozens if not hundreds of drinks a day. In that scenario cleaning the wand once day is a must. My wife and I only use it a couple of times a day and can get by with cleaning it every couple of weeks.
I’ve had my machine for about 2 years, only ever said to clean it when the clean filter light came on. Now that part has stopped working, tried everything to clean it out, wondering if there’s a blockage further up the tube! Any help appreciated.
Were having the exact same issue at work, similar machine age. No matter what we do it wont remove the maintenance warning and constantly shuts itself off
I find this sometimes and have found that if I hold the tip with a small rubber heat mat to get that extra grip the tool will the unscrew the sleeve from the tip. Occasionally I've had to use multi-grip pliers and a tea towel though.
