Today is Dryer Cleaning Day! It’s Day 26/30 of the Spring Cleaning Spree and I promised something satisfying. Cleaning the vents of our dryer not only calms my clean freak soul; but it also makes our dryer last longer, work better, and keeps our home safe. If you have an internal lint trap you may need to do a little more detailed brush and vacuum to get all the lint. I purchase my vent cleaning kit on Amazon (It’s listed in my Amazon store front) for about $20-$30 depending on the size you need. It is an investment, but one you can use for years to come. Depending on how many animals you have and the age of your dryer, I suggest cleaning your vents at least once a year. I do use a few power tools today. The leaf blower you don’t necessarily need to have, but to use the vent cleaning kit you will need a power drill. If this task intimidates you, no worries, there are usually local cleaning companies that will offer this service. Happy Friday and we’ll see you tomorrow for day 27!
