Can this technique be used on any suede/nubuck? I have a suede notebook cover. Generally people just let it age to a hardened leather. I’d rather keep the suede texture. Thanks for the tutorial. God bless you.
I got a sprite drop on one of mine then I got a toothbrush and water to scrub over and get it out but that part won’t dry now I sat it infront of the sun for couple hours am I screwed or just let it dry longer
So what you might have to do is use dawn dish detergent to basically get the oil out but while doing this, you will also remove any coloring that you have in the suede so the suede is basically going to bleed out but it’ll get all the oil out and then you’ll probably have to get a re-dye on on your suede but if you don’t care about that and just want the oil out then do that and then repeat everything I do in my the video.
