Ok so I wanted to convince my dad and mom to bye me a cat he said if the cat poops what will you do and I showed him this video and he agreed NOW MY SIBILINGS AND ME ARE SUPER HAPPY THIS VIDEO IS SUPER USEFUL

Scoop out the litter box everyday for poop and pee. Completely change out the litter every 2 weeks. Wash with hot water and a mild detergent like Ivory dish soap. Replace with 2 to 3 inches of litter.

I have a cat. I clean his litter box twice a day. In the evening and in the morning. Every one should clean the litter box at least once a day. Not every two days, not once a week. This way you will never be able to smell anything. Use clumping litter. Any other cat litter is useless believe me. And there is two things you can do if the pee clump sticks to the box. Either you remove the sand around the clumb by shifting the litter box so the cat litter stands not in the way and than remove the clump with tissue and this is very important, clean the surface where the clump was with a water based baby whipe tissue than dry it with tissue. Or you shift the hole cat litter in a container. Than clean the box and put cat litter back. First solution is the better one. And by the way you will allways find litter aroy-und the house. This is unfortunate by for that I havent found a solution yet.

That’s why I taught my cat to use the toilet, just flush it and the work is done😆👍

Wipe your cats butt too, if left unwiped the cat will leave residue when it sits on your floor.

Replace litter once a month should be fine, not every week, that is excessive! But yes, clean their feces and pee every day.

We took in a cat, it just pooped in the litter box right now and stinks to high heaven. Wife can’t clean it right now because she’s showering so I’m watching this video to learn how to clean a litter box so I don’t have to deal with the smell. Thank you.

If you have multiple cats lol no I'm not rich I have one cat that's more than enough. I've got an almost 8 year old black cat named Salem. I love her very much.

And don't forget to wear gloves and wash your hands afterwards.

What do you do with the feces after scooping them up--in other words, where do you dispose of them???

If your litter box has a foul odor then use a scented litter sand. That would be a lot easier for you to clean the litter box without struggling with the smell
