How To Clean Thermocouple 

Thank you! My oven broiler wouldn't stay lit no matter how long I held the gas knob pushed in. I feared I had to have the thermocouple replaced. Just used sandpaper on the tip and the oven works fine! It wasn't working for over a year. I feel so dumb but hey I didn't know. Thanks again!

was just about to take apart the oven to replace the coupler and decided to clean the thermocouples instead and now it works. thank you

My 19 year Heat-n-glo has a standing pilot system with a strong pilot light. It started working intermittently. I replaced both thermopile & thermocouple. I turned it on every day for a week & now nothing. Any suggestions?
