If you have had your AMP Annealer for a while now it could be time to give it a clean. Keeping the inductor area clean and free from debris is key to ensuring that the annealer can detect the insertion and removal of cases.
Additionally keeping the filter clean prevents dust from getting inside the unit.
Finally, ensure that you keep your annealer in a warm and dry environment. This is crucial to preventing moisture build up in the electronics, ensuring a long life for your annealer.

Just caught your video. I remember what you said about the smell of the varnish!! Every time I use mine, I think of what you had said! Smell has gone away over time.😁

Mine does not look like this one. Mine has two fans on the right and the cover doesn’t come off real easy…. I didn’t force it.

The Mark II has two filters instead of one. The cover can be tight for some models but you can use a thin but wide flat head screw driver or similar to pop off the cover. Best to start at the corner.

Hi Alex, is it the same for the older Mark 1?

Exactly the same for the Mark 1.

Can't believe this thing is still around lol. Was it ever proven that $1,500+ anneals better than $300? Has anyone done an accuracy comparison? This machine sounds way to delicate for the majority of men to own...q-tips? Unless the amp annealer starts coming out with some way cool features at $1,500, my choice will always be the Burstfire 2.0.

It is quite an investment and might not make sense for everyone. But it is very convenient and consistent and for me, after only a few years it will add to the cost of a reloaded cartridge less then 10% considering only the costs for brass, primer, powder and bullets for precision ammo. Negligible in view of the constant increase in costs for the other components

How long does it take you to set up your torches? 1 push of the button, and the AMP annealer is annealing to the same temperature every time. It takes the fussing around factor and human factor out of the equation. I dont have to adjust my gas output as the tank gets closer to empty, I don't have to have to drive to the store to get gas or store my gas somewhere. I dont have to find a darkened room to make sure the brass is hitting temp. Can you be as accurate with torches? Yes, but the set up can take 5 to 10 mins to hook up the gas, adjust the torches, adjust the timing, and calibrate the temperature to "slightly red in a dark room". You don't have to deal with that when using the AMP, you take it out, plug it in, and turn it on and it will anneal accurately and consistently to your previous settings. No thinking needed, no fiddling necessary, and a start up time under 20 seconds.
