Hi! This is super helpful, thank you! With the pandemic, I am unable to find rubbing alcohol anywhere in stores or online. Can I use vinegar to clean my Aria diffuser instead of rubbing alcohol?
Good Evening. Please. When Aria switches itself off, 20 ml of water will remain there (previously there was less water left). What does this mean, and how should I proceed when cleaning that hole in the middle. Should I pour more alcohol there? Leave on for a while and then put some water in there and let the whole thing clean up inside? I use a napkin lightly soaked in alcohol once a week for cleaning, but it probably wasn't enough. Fight with the use of more alcohol, do not damage the ultrasound plate. Please advise how and what do you do?
Hi! I was wondering if this method of cleaning necessary after every single use? I’m currently only wiping mine down with alcohol between each use/change of oils and doing a deep internal clean once a week. I run it every day.
Hi! No it’s not necessary to do after every use. Maybe if you’re running it every day I’d do a deep clean every week or 2. Usually you can see it getting “dirty”, with discoloration or oil residue/build-up in the ultrasonic plate. That’s usually a good sign that it needs a good clean! Hope that helps!
I've been using mine in my MH and AoD counseling practice office, unfortunately, it runs every weekday, and I'm so super busy it's been neglected. So if there's a lot of buildup, do you recommend undiluted Thieves Cleaner to just "soak" for a smidge, or would that cause problems??
Faith Rich Fidler Hi! I have an Aria upstairs that gets neglected sometimes too, I would try the diluted thieves spray first, maybe spray and leave it to soak for 15 min, then wipe and rinse it clean. A dab of rubbing alcohol will do the trick for getting rid of buildup too! Just clean it out with thieves cleaner after the alcohol, to remove any of that smell! XO
Why in the world do they make this diffuser so that it is only operational with a remote?!! There needs to be power options on the diffuser so if you loose the remote you aren’t out a $200 diffuser, very frustrating! Now I ordered remote and it still doesnt work, argh. Hoping cleaning it helps!!
Hi Danica! Sorry this is such a late response. I'm sure you know this by now and it doesn't really help your situation but YL did come out with a new and improved Aria and it has a power mode option ON the diffuser!!! Yay!!! It also runs for 12 hours now instead of just 3! Whoooo hoooo!
