I have a Holland Companion and I clean the whole thing after every use and it still looks new. The longer you let it go without cleaning makes it harder to clean later because all that buildup gets really stuck and I imagine that the buildup probably negatively affects the flavor of the food once it starts to char.
What is the name of the piece of metal that is under the grill and above the propane tank? I need to buy one, mine has rusted. Can’t seem to find ANY INFO ON IT AND COULDN’T get anyone to answer the phone today.
how long does the mesh grill last before it starts to rust (which seems to happen to most grills no matter how you seal them after cleaning) and does NH offer replacements?
Must be a better class of SS Tom. Seems like the stated SS content on a Char-Broil Grill isn't what they say it is. It starts to fail after about a year.
