How to clean your melin HYDRO

I wear mine into the shower and wash with shampoo and hang on the shower head to dry, come morning it is dry and ready to wear! Looks new every time!!!

I own too many of these hats! I love the brand and their focus on the details. The ROI on these hats becomes evident over time since they clean up so well. I have a big head and the XL is the ticket to overall comfort. I get excited when I get a text showing new colors/styles. My new vice-Melin hats!

I gotta say, I wanted to hate on this hat so I’d have a reason to regret paying 2-3x the amount I usually get a hat for but this brand is straight QUALITY! Most black hats, I have to chuck them after a month cus they fade out from a couple washes. I still have my Melin A Game hat since July of last year running it through so many washes yet it still comes out fresh and bold. 👌🏽 The only hat I ever truly need for everything.

Picked up the new A-Game MSLX Hydro with non-adjustable flex fitting hat from the flagship store in Laguna Beach. I also have the Odessey and they both fit great. However, the new MSLX is a game changer. Has a wider bill than the standard A-Game Hydro and a new sweat diverter built into the headband at the front. Diverts sweat to the sides verses down into your face. Absolute perfect fit and feel. Not too tight or loose, they should have called it the "A-Game Changer". Needless to say, the quality of the hat is above all hat standards. Not available online as these hats are in Beta, only available in Laguna Beach.

I got my Melin on a 50% off deal and it was as advertised a then some. Gonna add another one to the collection soon. I know this was posted 3 years ago but I appreciate finding this in order to clean my Melin I’ve own for about 6 months now!

I have 6 melin hats - the ones I use for running get sweat lines around the visor which I can't seem to get off with just gentle washing.. I made the mistake once of throwing one in the washer which ruined it - unfortunately.. Luckily Melin stepped up and replaced it when I emaild them a picture! so gotta give em that.

Why do you have to wait for it to fully dry before putting it back on? I washed mine off best I could in a hotel sink (hadn’t seen this video yet) but I put mine back on while it was still wet after a super hot day outside all day. Felt good & seems to be fine now that it is truly dry. Just curious if there’s a reason you say don’t put it back on until it’s dry.

How often do we have to wash it? I wear it at the gym 5 times a week. So there’s definitely sweat build up in it

Can it be put in dishwasher or washing machine if for some reason this doesn’t work

Hey! This could be a stupid question but I may have used too much soap, should I rinse it again? The soap smell is lingering and with my luck it’ll sweat into my eyes 🤣 appreciate it if you see this !

What is your policy when washing the hat won’t clean sweat stains? I’ve tried multiple soaps and can not get rid of the sweat marks. Very disappointed in this since I bought it to be able to wash it, especially for $70

My hat isn't dirty so much as it has developed a sweat odor, what do you recommend for that?

The warning mentioned that it'll stop beading the water on the hat. Can I spray the hat with some kind of water repellent to get it exactly like new?

I have a small subtle black stain on one of my favorite ones from someone stepping on it. I tried washing it out a handful of times like this video and it wont budge, any ideas?

I do Lawn and Landscape work tried using some dawn and water and didn't come clean at all. Has anyone tried leaving it in some Simple Green overnight? That is how I usually have to wash my work shoes/hats.

Pro-tip - just wear it in the shower. Body wash and loofa 🤙🏼

I so love these hats… I was fkn tired of destroying expensive ball cap hats by simply washing them. FFS. So much wasted money. I asked myself years & years ago why someone didn’t make a washable,e hate. Of course the answer was-profiteering. Thanks for destroying that, Melin!
