They're still upstanding, what isn't upstanding is sending in a gross pack. If they're going to go to the trouble of repairing your pack, the least you could do is make sure it's clean. Also, no, they don't void your warranty if you send in a dirty pack. If you send a dirty pack, they'll either charge a $25 maintenance fee and go ahead with the repair, or they'll just ship it back to you unrepaired.
