Cleaning the fan in your T@b or T@g is an easy way to keep your fan running smoothly. In this week's episode of T@b Talk, I'll show you how to clean both a Fantastic and a MaxxAir Fan.
A Phillips head screwdriver is used to remove the Fantastic Fan blade and 3/32 Allen wrench is used to remove the Maxxair Fan blade.

Thanks for this video!!!! My fan is possessed by the bugs and dust ghosts. I usually just use a vacuum on the screens (this and the windows). Will clean this weekend.

Typically I run the fan without the screen. Moves air more efficiently. I set the fan to blow out and draw air in from the cracked door opening or side window of the shade side of the camper. I have never had bugs fly in. The air pressure fan rotation to blow outward makes bugs not try to go down the fan hole I suppose. Air flow on slow fan settings is quieter but good ventilation without the screen.

The fan really does help keep the air cooler, doesn't it? With the amount of dirt I get, especially out west, I am glad for the screen. I usually am running the fan on exhaust, too, but still manage to get bugs occasionally.
