Thank you Jenn for all of your videos! First time T@B owner (320s Boondock) and first time camper! Watching your videos and printing your set up and pack up check lists has helped me to complete 2 successful camping trips! I look to future videos! BTW the LevelMate Pro is one of my absolute favorite tools to have! Thanks for the recommendation!

Other mistakes; don’t use your foot to push the grey water valve. It will bend. Don’t start buying gear until you have used your camper few times. Write what you left, what you ran out of and what you needed. Then find the best solutions to buy. Otherwise, you may end up buying things you don’t need. And, lastly, get those Sea Biscuit’s boxes. That you DO need 😊

New owner here. I had an issue where I went to dump my cassette toilette and didn't realize it comes out even if you don't push the button. Dumped it all over my shoe, which was very unpleasant. Also, learned that I shouldn't let it fill all the way up. Love your channel. Have learned lots from watching you. Thanks.

I love when you show the actual issues like the windows, really helps to SEE IT. What's an LP detector?
@JennGroverPhotography
@JennGroverPhotography Год назад
Some people think the LP detector is a carbon monoxide detector. It's the small black m9nitor to the right of the converter on the passenger side bench. It monitors propane for leaks.

Thanks Jenn! On my first camping trip, one of my dogs jumped out through the window screen. Luckily, she was fine, and I was able to fold the screen back into place.

Wow, I am so glad it worked out! That is a high window for a dog to jump from!

Hi Jenn, you mentioned some of us new TAB owners think they have a problem with the LP detector because it’s chirping! You are describing me to a tee! I didn’t know why this was happening in my trailer! You say that it could be low battery? What battery are you referring to ? One of those little ones in the detector itself or the big battery for trailer itself? You mentioned it should be wired directly to your battery! Is this something that you do yourself ? Or does NuCamp wire the LP detector directly to big battery on 2023 models? I think my rv battery is dead! It gave off a terrible smell in and around the trailer this last fall when I went out to winterizing RV. Didn’t know I had to check fluid levels thru out the camping season, and fill with distilled water! I have lots to learn yet! Thought it was like a car battery ! Now I need to get a new battery this spring when I pull it out of storage, not sure which kind I will get. I’m thinking of a AGM or Lithium and not the flooded or wet batteries as they call them. Looking for a low or no maintenance battery. So should I have who ever installs battery ask them to wire the LP detector directly to big battery verses replacing the little battery inside the LP detector? I’m 69 and widowed and learning as I go. Many THANKS to you for all your Tips and Advice on NuCamps TABs. Looking forward to your new videos and suggestions. Thank you, Maria 😊

I'm so glad you are able to get to the bottom of the chirping! The LP detector is wired directly to the trailer battery. It sounds like you really need a new battery. If you can swing it financially,, you cannot go wrong with a 100ah lithium battery. Either nuCamp or a dealer should be able to help with that.

Hi Jenn, off topic here, but was thinking about the unhitch problem where folks cannot get the ball to come off. Just read some people pull the pin from the the receiver and that allows the receiver bar to slide freely in the tow vehicle's hitch. Once the bar & ball can move, the ball will come out. (Just remember to put the pin back in, lol)
@JennGroverPhotography
@JennGroverPhotography Год назад
That seems like it would be easy for the receiver to slide out of the receiver altogether? (As an aside, I use a locking pin and that would be a real pain for me, personally)
@jwalbrig
@jwalbrig Год назад
The receiver only needs to move less than an inch (3/8") for the ball to clear. There should be plenty of receiver left in the shaft. --- a solution to stuck ball, if you are desperate to get it loose. I usually just put tow vehicle in neutral and that allows the 3/8" movement.

As usual, more than one way to do it. I chock my wheels and pull forward a tad and that usually does it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xmRINT9v-ME.html

I want to get a TAB 400 but my wife is much more interested in a TAB 320 CS-S because of the outdoor kitchen. One of the things I'm worried about is the cassette toilet. What are some of the positives and negatives of a cassette? Is it more work? Thanks! I've been enjoying your videos.
@JennGroverPhotography
@JennGroverPhotography 11 месяцев назад
There are tradeoffs for both both the cassette and non cassette. Let me put it this way, I have yet to come across a 320 owner who has a cassette who wishes they didn't. I sat around the campfire at uCamp with a whole bunch of newer 320 owners who all told me how much they love it.

I wanted to ask you another question (just one more) about the 320 CS given that you likely see a lot of them. My wife is 5' tall and was wondering what you thought about the kitchen counter height on a 320 CS-S with the Boondock axle. Are they too high for shorter people? Our local dealer doesn't have one that we can look at. Thanks again and sorry to bug you. @@JennGroverPhotography

@stevenjoseph8980 I have hear shorter people struggle with the Boondock on the CSS. I believe some use a step stool.

Thanks again Jenn. We are planning on going to a dealer in Virginia next month to check one out. I'd rather have a 400 so it may push us in that direction. @@JennGroverPhotography
