Bro, he did everything wrong pretty much, you are not supposed to wash with tap because it has minerals that can build up grime and ruin the protective layer, you are also supposed to avoid the middle label, and like you said, you’re not supposed to touch the grooves because our hands contain oils, greases and dirt that will destroy the vinyl record, this hurts my soul 😔😔😔
@@digidoridvideos3672 Yes, touching the grooves can lead to the damage of the grooves. Our fingers contain natural oils and “muck” that can get into the grooves. It causes Audio Distortion, Needle Jumping and Groove Abrasion. So it can damage the grooves maybe not destroy the record but if it’s not cleaned then time will ruin the record.
That’s very old fashioned, these days most people use a dish washer. The trick is to use the eco mode, will give you best results while limiting energy consumption ;)
I love my record collections ( more than 10 thousands of them) so much that may treat them well until I die. 😢 yes, I am really in pain to see a sad video like this one. as a matter of fact, those are not only vinyls, but memories. 😊😊😊
Recently inherited over 500 of my uncles vinyls ranging from 1920s to early 2000s. Mainly 60s thru 80s all genres. My childhood! This video made have {{{full body shivers}}}😢
