I need shirts. I'm stuck in a rut of wearing the same old shirts every week and I'm completely bored by them. So rather than buy a bunch of styles, why not make your own pattern from a comfy t-shirt and elevate it using better fabrics and a little pizzazz. This process is perfect for beginner or intermediate sewists, especially if you use any existing hems on upcycled fabrics.
I found an oversized shirt at Goodwill and traced it out onto contractor paper in order to create the pattern. Then I got a little fancy with the details and made 3 shirts before the end of the weekend.
