hey i wonder if applecarplay fullscreen alone will work for me because i have a 2018 bmw g30 in navigation i have N something there and M at the end of usb on M version works and fullscreen doesn't i don't understand it a bit. What do you think will it work for me or do I need to buy iDrive Firmware Upgrade?

I have the same issue. I enabled it in Bimmercode but it just creates a white screen in the split screen section. I would have thought then that maybe this could be done in expert mode?

Yeah you’d have to do something like what I did in the video. Find a third party company that offers the ability to code full screen and or the firmware update depending on your specific software version.

I think you'd have to go a different route with yours. I believe the same company that I purchased this file from can update your idrive software to give you carplay but I'd recommend contacting them for accurate details on what you'd need to do. bimmer-remote.com/products/idrive-firmware-update-apple-carplay-fullscreen

No this is only for models from 2017+ with the NBTevo iDrive software. 2014 models had the NBT system. But I offer this integration kit if you want to add Carplay to your 2014. www.inlinesixauto.com/collections/all-f-series-products/products/apple-carplay-for-bmw-nbt-system-f30-f32-f80-more

Hi, do we need carplay before using this file or can we go from no carplay at all to full screen carplay in one go by using this file? thank you. ive got a 2017 430i, with pro nav NTBEvo L

The file I used is for if you already have carplay from factory. If you don't have carplay at all, its a whole different process. But I believe this company can also add carplay with fullscreen if you don't have it from factory. I would contact them directly on their website. bimmer-remote.com/pages/contact
