I got it to work on the F 30 but I just traded mine in for an F 80 and now I did the same steps to make it work in the F 30 but now it’s not working here is there a different sequence for the F 80?
Really appreciate ur videos. I watched them before I even owned a bmw got a e90 325i October 2022 and followed ur videos for mods, then I upgraded to a 2014 alpine white 335i really similar to yours in January 2024. Now it’s time to work towards getting an m3 at the end of the year hopefully. Love your videos keep it up so underrated not sure why you don’t get a ton of views
Never done anything like this, but from watching tinted window video, maybe you could have rougly position the film on head light, and trim rougly around to cut the excess. you'd have less ''wrinkle'' as you squeejee out the soapy solution
Thank God I have a car whose headlights are easily removed! I couldn't imagine the aggravation it would cause me to attempt this with them on the car. Unfortunately I have to do this since one of the replacement lenses I bought started flaking it's clear coat less than a year after installing them and now I have to protect them before they start yellowing and them I become a slave to polishing them every 6-8 weeks. Thanks for sharing!
I didn’t see where you talked about the buzzing noise. Were you able to fix it? I just bought my second E90, a 2010, and it had the faint high pitched buzz. Even when the radio was off and key removed. A lot of people fixed the issue by unplugging the radio connector and then reinstalling it. The Professional radio from my older E90 was in better condition so I just swapped it and the buzz is gone. This buzz-free radio originally came from 2014 X1. Easy cheap fix.
Very nice, but probably a bit too much work for me. I wish there was a easier way of getting properly illuminated rings in the OEM LCI xenon headlights.
@@Dutch79it took less than a week for the guy the install my first set of rings. It did cost $500 just for the labor though. Bavgruppe has certified installers for their products you can check here to see if there is one near you www.bavgruppedesign.com/find-an-installer/ These people have removed many factory seals so they've figured faster ways to get through it.
can I run this same set up on a f82? because on the site says it kind of only for a f80 and they have another for the f82 but without the spacers..thanks in advance!
Just fitted this to my son's 2009 E92. As simple as it gets, everything fits and works straight out of the box. Adding a reverse camera was also simple, just gotta select "aftermarket camera" instead of OEM and it works like a charm. Highly recommended!
i have a 2018 f30 330i with these headlights but the lens is cracked and i was wondering if i could just buy these to replace them ? or is this only for pre 2018???
Oh no these dont work with models that already have the OEM LED LCI headlights. they can only work with halogen LCI models. I would suggest just replacing the lens?
I would say it’s normal if your car is 10+ years old. This car is 15 years old so overtime it just lost enough refrigerant to the point the ac doesn’t product cold air. But it also could be from a leak. But mine is still cold so I don’t think it has a leak.
The best way to solve this problem is to do what I did what I did was the following I went online. I look for an E 90 M3 interior four-door and the door handles are not plastic leather wrapped handles that are not sticky or break up on you.
I’m probably not going to do a burble tune tbh. I’ve grown to not like them anymore like I used to on my F30. If anything, once I get a tune, I’m probably going to turn down the burbles so it only does like couple burbles lol.
Would you suggest swapping over the modules from (left to right, right to left) before hand? or try them out first as they came originally without swapping sides?
I originally didnt swap the modules and kept them on the same sides. But after connecting them the driver side DRLs wouldnt turn on so I ended up swaping the modules, putting the passenger side in driver side and driver side in the passenger side. This fixed the issue as the DRLs worked as normal after swapping. Never had another issue. So it shouldnt really matter which side there on but it might depending on if you have the same issue with one of the DRLs not working.
I dont daily this car. I have an E90 328i as my daily. I honestly dont think it would be the best daily for me personally. But mine has the competition package so it has bucket seats and the 20 inch wheels which make it not so comfortable to be daily driving. also gas mileage isnt that great. The road noise from the 20 inch wheels definitely bothers me sometimes. Though you could fix that by getting different wheels and tires. The stock suspension is actually pretty comfortable though. I've been driving lowered BMWs with louder exhausts the last few years so I've gotten used to stiff suspension and louder exhuast sounds so the comfort really depends on what youre used to driving.
@@InlineSixAuto thank you for the reply. I'm looking at the standard version rather than the competition due to what I've read on it being slightly more comfortable. My current car is an F30 330D with a stage 1 remap, it's quick and economical but I think I need to scratch the M3 itch. I need a do it all car that's why I'm looking at the M3, if I had the ability to have two cars I'd probably get a Cayman as a fun car. I work from home and mostly do short journeys around town so the fuel economy doesn't bother me, I'm only doing 2000-3000 miles a year. Does the engine noise ever get annoying and how is the car in traffic, I know that the car does not creep forward like a regular automatic, does that make things like reverse parking more difficult? Also is the car fun at regular speeds as well, i.e. engaging or does it feel like a regular 3 series?
@@ronniep9272 If youre planning to get the standard version, than I think it'll fit with what youre looking for. It drives completely different than a regular 3 series. the suspension, the handling, the engine behavior all feel more like a racecar thats ready to be taken to a track. The DCT basically feels like an auto and its very smooth in traffic. The engine is quiest for the most part. Until you put it in sport mode and then it gets a bit louder. But I think its far from being too loud. Though Im used to have a loud car. Reverse feels the same in my opinion. the only thing that gets me is that on a hill, it will roll backwards if you let go a brake too long. Usually itll hold it for you for a few seconds but then itll roll backwards. So thats one thing I still havent gotten used to. Overall the car can be a fun daily since it has lots a feature to make it comfortable but also has the features to turn it into a race car on the spot with adjustability it has on the suspension, steering, and throttle response with the push of a few buttons.
