this video is about how to use a Kona pellet tube as a cold smoke generator for your cheese salmon salt spices etc...
Most importantly, how to properly prepare your tube so that it produces smoke for the entire time needed, which for cheese, is 2 hours.
Flip the cheese (Gouda, Gruyere, Chedder, etc) every 30 minutes. Gruyere was used in this video, simply because we have not seen it smoked before, and it was incredible! Highly recommended.

You have to vacuum seal (wrap tightly in plastic wrap at LEAST) and let it sit for 3 weeks minimum in the fridge, 4 weeks+ for best results.

You have to let the cheese rest. Even a couple weeks is best, especially if you have a vacuum sealer.

Great video! If you used a few almonds as "feet" for the cheese, is it possible you wouldn't have to turn it so often? :D

get a cheap flour sifter to put the nuts in and smoke can penetrate the cheese or nuts from all sides

I used one of these smoking containers for the first time today in the smoke quality was really bad. Really Satti. Do you have any suggestions on how to get clean smoke from pellets using this device?

Likely the pellet quality perhaps.just a guess make sure it’s food grade pellets.

I use pecan pellets. I also use wood chips from pecan. After at least two hours just toss them in the skillet. Awesome! Oh one more tip when I kill a wild Turkey I fillet the breast and then I debone the remainder of the carcass and grind into ground Turkey burger. Cold smoke those patties with a little salt and pepper and BAM! Heaven! Many grocery stores sell bacon ends by the 5 lbs box. Mix a quarter lbs ground bacon ends to 3/4 lbs ground Turkey and you will get you some sugar from your bride. It’s an instant panty dropper. Bam! Heaven again!

Yep. Just get buy a cheap, disposable aluminum grill great, (about a dollar from Lowes) and wrap it around a paper towel tube, and then secure it with some metal bread ties. BUT, I just bought of these stainless steel tubes on Amazon for about 10 bucks and they'll last forever.

Gotta trick for ya......take about 20 pellets and soak them in vodka or whiskey for five minutes. Add to the top of the tube. Light and be on fire fast....👍

I know of better use of vodka and whisky than lighting the pellets. For lighting the pellets I use 91% rubbing alcohol. Works great!

missing a step, after 5 minutes, remove the pellets, light them up, and drink the whiskey!
