Those brush tutorials tend to confuse you a lot.They make art look something very technical.

Wow, thank you. I used to always use one color and then a darker one for shading, but I see how much better it looks when you layer colors rather than pressing hard.

Thank you for this informative tutorial. I began watching this thinking that I would learn some good color "formulas" for each of these skin tones. The most important thing I learned was to take a lot of time to closely observe all the colors within different parts of the face or skin, and that it takes lots of practice to do well. Everyone is unique, and so is their skin tone. I appreciate the time and effort you put into making this to help others. It is very much appreciated.

Great video especially showing the colors written and highlighted as you use them. This is the most helpful thing I have seen in any tutorial as the speed drawings are sometimes difficult to figure out otherwise. Thank you so much for this as I am just getting into faces. Thanks so much for your shareing on how to do this. I think I finally get it . With my slow learning at times can not stick lol . I get it more better ^_^ so from light to dark then dark to light . So let me know if am getting this right . Using exsamples Light peach to cream to brown to dark brown . Then use brown to go over the dark brown to blend . Then use cream to color over brown an dark brown to blend . Then use light peach an color the whole thing

What a wonderful tutorial: quality video, to-the-point instruction, subtitles indicating colors... Immediately liked and subscribed. A question... do you have suggestions as to which color combinations might be good for different nationalities? I know there’s wide variation, but in general, what colors might I choose for a Greek subject, African, Scandinavian, Hispanic, etc? Thanks so much.
