Brilliant vid - straight to the point with no unnecessary bullshit. Thanks so much. I've had a Mac for eleven years and I've never learnt how to do this.
Woah! I have been jumping hoops for about three years periodically needed combined pdf’s. Your simplicity and ease to do this was amazing. I am truly thankful and appreciative. Thank you!
let me save you all the time!! highlight the pdfs together and double click and go to quick actions and press create PDF and it combines them all. I'm guessing this video is just outdated.
First you open one of the files and then you can click and drag in the other files into that file you opened. I have a macbook and this is how I was able to do that :)
Just a tip: make sure that you have the sidebar option set to "Thumbnail" to be able to do this! It took me quite some time to figure that out so just thought I'd share in hopes of helping someone :)
@@ilikecartoons3543 I doubt this will be of any help since I'm so late to answer, but figured it might help others in the future too: when you're in the preview and looking at your document, you click on the box all the way to the top left underneath the red & yellow buttons. It will say "view menu" when you hover over it. Click and select "thumbnails" and then you will be able to drag pages from separate docs & reorganize.
I select the two PDFs on my desktop but they open in Acrobat and not Preview. So how do I get them to open in Preview and follow the rest of the steps as shown??
After you "opened them all up," they all appeared in the thumbnails; when I "open them all up," they both open, but as separate docs...how come for you they just all magically appeared in the same doc, then you hit "select all" and they all get selected; for me, when I hit "select all," it just highlights everything in the one document for which I hit the edit button for (so I could "select all").
Thank you. But what they ask me is this: The package must be presented as a PDF package with (*single page and indexed). And I don't know how to do it with a single page. Can you explain me please. Thx
Thank you so much ..,🙂👍🏿what if I want to create individual PDFs but still keep the name of the folder ?whenever I create the individual PDFs it asks me to "save as".. and it overrides everything that I have.... but I want to put individual PDFs inside that one folder without changing the name of the folder.. thank you so much 🙂🙂
If anyone is looking for how to combine multiple PDF's I found a simpler way, as I'm writing this Dec 2023 things might change in the future, but as of now select the PDFs you want to combine then right click a list will pop up, all the way in the bottom will be "Quick Actions" hover over that and another list will appear with the option "Create PDF" click that and there you're done.
Once I go to "print," since I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I don't have the option to print as a pdf, so I don't know what to do. Otherwise, this was very clear. I paused the video to stop and take notes.
