In today's video I'm going to teach you how to combo lock on hypixel specifically. It's a lot different trying to combo on other servers but as you'll see in the video there are ways you can get around weird hypixel kb.

The reason hypixel knockback is so wierd is because it allows for players to connect from 1.8 - 1.18 or abbove and since kb is different on these 2 versions hypixel most likely use a kb modifier plugin which explaiins it

Yeah most practice servers have the knockback always set to a certain amount I have no clue how it works or why hypixel doesn’t make it a set amount I guess its more fun when its like that lol

@@yellowbed it's actually just vanilla kb, it's weird because it's highly randomized. Servers like minemen modify the kb to make it consistent so you can combo lock for hours

@@NoSubsWithContent That’s both right and wrong, hypixel tried to make it like vanilla kb, but the plugin they use is pretty awful.

I really think the fact that you can't wtap for every hit makes it more fun! It makes strafing much more of a viable option in fights and won't let you be forced to do one technique the whole time

Playing sumo a lot made me realize another thing about 2cps: if you lose a combo by any means and they get the hit on you, your low asf cps makes you fly backwards and they won’t be able to instantly combo you back. this starts the fight for the first hit again. if you’re confident in your trades and hit timings it’s definitely worth trying out.

Im not the greatest pvper, but I would recommend single clicking once you get someone in a combo if you cant click like 10 cps at least. You gotta click them like right when the hit cooldown ends and if you're clicking 5 you're more than likely going to walk into them because your click wasn't at the right time. Atleast in my experience.

Thats what ive noticed when Im playing in hypixel. If they get to much kb. Dont sprint reset too much. Sometimes its better to hit once hit twice then sprint reset.

heres a method i found that worked in housing, not sure in other modes tho. get a combo, hit them twice while standing still, run foward to reach range, repeat.

i’m talking about hypixel. on literally any other server with standardized KB people will hold you in 100+ combos and that’s normal. hypixel, it’s not that easy. i’m talking about hypixel, not pvp land or other servers

I use shift tapping as a actual strategy in sumo(fun fact : It slows down your player the least)

I used to do shift tapping a lot when I had sneak bound to q, but now that I rebound it to shift like a casual, Its a lot harder. I could use toggle sprint but I feel like I'm gonna muscle memory and deactivate my sprint right before I make a jump.

for these twerking combos, i challenge anyone to do it without togglesprint, i managed to pull it off like 3 times max lol alternating between ctrl and shift with my pinky, definitely the hardest thing i've done
