In this video, I provide 4 tips for writing better observations which will be used to ask testable scientific questions (in a later video). I also give examples of detailed observations from 3 "categories" (Nature, Tools/Technology, How People Do Things).
Tips for Writing Better Observations:
1. Focus each observation on ONE thing (or on two things which are interacting/easily compared)
2. Write MORE (use "and" to connect related smaller observations, but do NOT list unrelated things)
3. COMPARE/CONTRAST similar things (use "but/however/instead" to show similarities/differences)
4. Use precise VERBS, ADJECTIVES, ADVERBS
