Training your dog the basics of obedience is an important responsibility as a pet owner. A dog that will respond to your commands and come back when called will help keep him out of harm’s way and going missing. Samantha always recommend training your dog as soon as possible. For a puppy, as soon as you get them between 8-12 weeks, light training such as house training or crate training can be done at this stage. When your dog is between 4-6 months old and has a longer attention span, you can begin teaching him new commands.
