Excellent advice! I am going back to work in Long Term Care after years of working from home- by biggest anxiety is working with people again and how to deal with them. Thank you for this video!

Thank you, I’m a male in nursing school transitioning from blue collar work and a mostly male atmosphere. I’m having to learn the different social dynamics in nursing and there are some real gems here. Are there any more recommendations?

Oh wow this is a phenomenal idea for a separate episode. Do you have any specific questions or scenarios that happened that you were unsure of how to deal with?

Kati! I’ve been using your podcasts since I started nursing at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020! It’s been a lifesaver! Thank you for this content! Modern and accurate to the current state of bedside nursing, so helpful!

I just saw two different doctors. What I thought were normal conversations weren’t that that at all. I later learned each of these doctors were employing most of these techniques in order to get their job done. Unfortunately, for one these doctors I later felt tricked into giving more information than I should have. Everything I said about my personal life ended up in my charts. I feel like I should have gotten a Miranda warning. Lesson learned.

Spending so much time to talk to a can about blood pressure three times… I could have taken it 5 times.
