I struggled with demasting since i followed some old guides where even NPC behaviour was different and they recommended using balls to demast. After watching your guide and switching to chains it was so much easier. So thank you so much! :D
Hi...only recently got into this sim...was on wishlist for ages and forgot about it...only to discover it's now F2P...who knew. @@MoisTeaGaming Thanks...yeah, I've watched a quite a few of them already. Passed all the exams but gotta say that getting the ships to behave for boarding is a real pain in the arse. I don't think I'm blowing smoke when I say I would probably still be at it if not for that really helpful tactics advice you gave. I'm picking up a few tricks now along the way but an enemy player last night thought he'd be funny and blow me to tinder...like I stood a chance against a fleet like he had...didn't see the point of his action other than to be an arse. But that's the game, I guess. Took a note of the guy so revenge will be mine...eventually. Cheers again.
@@kevpeters2537 I'm glad you've found your way with the help of my videos , Iv got 2 more lined up I just need to voice over. It is a mmo , sometimes you get hit by a lone hunter so etimes you get hit by a wolf pack , it happenes :)

i will however reduce the size of it in future videos, its a experiement as i dont want to be asking in my videos for people to subscribe. i just hate doing it XD
@@MoisTeaGaming that shows everyone what you are pushing to help give them ideas on how you are sailing your ship. It helps them see everything my guy, also grape without damaging the hull doesn't seem to be working anymore for rage boarding.
i realise i full speed sail, and its always cocked one siide and very difficult for me to aim, should i change to battle sail>? and the final exam is 300 creew, can not just go braoding
it does not work anymore, AI does not behave like this at all and fire deck guns kills like 9 pple and their fire grenades kills like 10, when you brace they counter attack for 50 kills

Do you have a video on the first 4 tutorials? I think the pursuit and capture tutorial is glitched as it won't let me repair my ship after boarding, it's a shame this game looks fun.

So I tried the boarding but the enemy killed me in three moves. wtf. I braced, waited for him to fire deck guns and clicked attack at the last second but i insta died.
I started the game 24 hours ago. I'm able to open and take the Gunnery tutorial, but the others are locked. Do you have an idea how I can get them unlocked?
hello paucity :) you have to do them in order , once you have done the gunner one the next will unlock and so on. same goes with the exams , best of luck ! cheers for commenting :)
@@MoisTeaGaming Nice! I managed to finish it yesterday and Im still not sure how haha. I fully focused on one ship at a time, tried to stay away from their side to fire mostly at their bow or stern, and repaired after killing the first one.

I just had a run where I succesfully boarded one of the two but after that, like an absolute moron I forgot I had switched to grape shot before going in for boarding and for a good amount of time I was wondering why my shots had no effect and while I was wondering what the hell was going on the last enemy ship boarded and obviously took me out…
I have watched the final exam tutorial and have run the exam about 30 times. No scenario ever played out like the one you show. Ships never behave like that, damage sustained is always far greater, boarding never works like it does on your video. I give up.

Hey, i woud like to start playing game, i got one question tho, i wanted join Poland but on the beggining i can only choose between pirates, espana, france and great britain, coud anyone tell me how cwn i unlock Poland?
poland is only in the old war server, which is not playable to anyone who did not own the game before the free to play was released. one thing though is that the war server ( the server which poland is on) is dead anyway so a bit pointless tbh. there is currently no way to get to the war server which your wanting to get to
@@MoisTeaGaming if it's the full broadside left/right then I'm good i even tried to change it to other keys in the keyboard but it work only in normal fighting mode until i start a board doesn't work seriously i have no clew for it i even lost a crafted Surprise cause of this :( anyway thanks for your time mate I appreciate it and keep it up ❤️
As Honza has said , that should be changing to 6 months ( which is much nicer ) so everything will stay fresh but not incomplete. There was a official vote which was nice I'm also hoping they implement this national ship auction , that would be great

@@MoisTeaGaming Thanks man, I pass it but apparently there was a bug because boarding button didn’t appear, they fix it and everything is good now. Thanks a lot again mate your videos were really helpful. By the way the game needs a lot of things to fix but I believed this is a topic for another video.
you can change your flag by either having the flags DLC or buying one or 2 in game flags with doubloons which you can get in game from missions and enemies. the button is in the top right of your screen :) I hope this helps
@TomVallario the in game ones you can buy for 50000 dubloons are in the admiralty section exchange somewhere, you will need the dubloons in the the port you are in to click it. Or if your referring to the dlc ones then you just buy them on steam
