Nice Video! I like several of your ideas, such as how you made use of the small space beside the play house. I used to have chickens and the second season after using the chicken manure in my garden, the garden was beautiful, productive and lush. It was amazing how much difference it made. I sometimes put the manure on the compost pile, but just as often I would just spread it on the ground near my plants. Everyone talks about it being too hot for the plants and that it will burn them, but I never had any problems. The plants loved it! Thanks for the video. :)

If yoursoil contains a lot of organic matter, there is no need to worry about drainage! I grow my tomatoes on hard clay soil using chicken manure and my tomato plants are always happy. Of course I add organic matter, such as weeds, grass clippings, leaves etc, to my hard clay soil 1 month prior to planting my tomatoes.

So how did this work out? Did it burn your plants?

You have the right idea, but you are putting TOO MUCH quail manure into one container, you can get very good results using 1/5 or less the amount of quail manure that you used, the only thing you should do is mix somewhat the quail manure with all the ingredients you will use as soil mix, and that's it, save lots more of quail manure for other plants.

So I’m new to quail. I have some now. And I also have a compost barrel. Can I just add the droppings into the barrel with the leaves and grass I put in there?

Have you tried this with chicken manure and plant in it right away? Will it burn the plant?

Do you remove the poop from the pine shavings? How?
