That was adorable and SO helpful! Thanks for not being afraid to make a video like this, it's just what I needed to prep for nursing school! Thanks again!
i love your kind friendly professional approach, i had to attend my local hospital a.e on monday...their treatment of me was a stark contrast to your teaching. i had severe chest pain, the staff nurse went to take my bloods with unwashed hands..no gloves, i had to say will you put gloves on. i was there three hours and the doctor was dismissive did not even examine me, and came to speak and discuss my medical problem in an open area with no privacy in less than 2cm proximity of 4 other patients i had to ask for privacy in a cubicle with curtains. reference by that doc was made to my sex and age and honestly i was appalled, so was my partner who is a G.P.
This was strangely realistic lol......even in a pharmacy setting. alot of times they are taking medications and have no idea what they are for but still take them everyday which blows my mind
I love your videos!!! Can you please help me with when a pt presents with multiple things wrong in an assessment how to decide which one takes precedence? (between being in pain, high or low bp, or high or low pulse, maybe low o2, how do you decide?)
If the patient is a teenager or someone young, are we still required to ask them if they are sexually active? Is doing their health history interview the same on how you did it in this video that is for the elderly?
