Without strong research, a design can fall flat. If you don’t research the target audience, you don’t know who you’re designing for and you might miss the mark or come off as tone-deaf.
If you don’t ask the right design research questions - you can end up with designs that won’t last the test of time and come off as trendy or fleeting, rather than enduring.

Wow this was amazing! might have to watch it a couple of times to really get the grasp of it but totally worth it! I remember reading the Ellen Lupton book back in university as well but honestly I had a hard time understanding it maybe now when I read it again it will be much easier. Thank you so much for your videos they have helped and inspired me in becoming a better graphic designer :)
