@@iambklive7596 I got a problem though. Im using Apollo twin x which has 2 mic ins. When I tried ch1, it works fine, but ch2 not working. how do you use 2 mics with audio hijack??
@@ironboots88 you have to click advanced when you add an input source and select the correct channels. For example on the rodecaster pro there are 14 individually selectable channels I can add into audio hijack. Channels 3456 are respectively mic 1234 on the device. So I could add each of them individually and process them individually inside audio hijack if I wanted.
Fantastic walk-thru. I’ve been wondering if and how I might use Audio Hijack with Loopback. Your explanation was easy to follow and made complete sense. I’m going test this out in the morning. Thanks!
I commented on this video several days ago and it vanished somehow. Trying again.. Thank you so much! This video has helped me to finally understand the "symbiosis" between Audio Hijack, Loopback, Ecamm and ZOOM. I also realised that Hijack recognises all my audio plugins that came with either my audio interface or that I've bought as standalones. I really needed to solve the problems with noisy mics and I'm almost there. Much appreciated!
Great video! I was having an issue with the proper way to use audio hijack with loopback software. Thank you for your time explaining the methodology. I host toastmaster meetings and will use a similar process for routing audio to zoom.
Great explanation, nearly what I look for. - I have the Focusrite audio interface instead rodecaster and need now to get rid off the built in loopback to have more flexibility with rogue amoeba and processing the sound with audio hijack. Will try to get this done with your walkthrough
@BK, Except for RODECaster Pro, I have the exact same apps and use case as you! I don't understand Audio Hijack explanation. Just now setting up my studio. Will try to follow your video, again, after I purchase RODECaster Pro. Thank you, very much, for your video! I will come back!
Rodecaster pro already has some audio processing on board so you can skip audio hijack. But I use it because I like the flexibility it gives me. For example, you can use your current audio interface in place of RCP and then use audio hijack to process the audio.
hi there. we meet in ecamm live FB. among malaysian using ecamm live. i am using blackhole at the moment. do i need to upgrade to paid loopback from free blackhole?
