I am creating my own speaker system soon. This was so helpful. I learned something today from your show. I subscribed and gave a thumbs up, Thanks again!!
I think if your speakers are 4 omhs you can wire 2 speakers together in parallel to give you 2 ohms then wire it to your amp. Question is the taramp 400x4 good for door speakers also 4?
I have an head unit with only 2 channels, no fader, factory drivers left & right that i believe are 4 ohm and separate factory tweeters with a small capacitor inline. how would this be wired ? I was hoping to add another set of drivers + tweeter's but if the tweeters are 8 ohm & drivers are 4 ohm how would this wire up? confused Transit owner😂
@RD CREATIONS @RD CREATIONS I have bought ahuja tza 4000em amplifier ; how can connect six speakers with 4w,90DB,200Hz_1KHz,120/240v, 70/100v inputvoltage each, could you tell me the best connection to get good clear sound for masjid?
I am working with eight 8 ohms JBL ceiling speakers on a powered AMP 6-16 ohms and tech support told me to remove speaker built in amp to tie in directly to speaker which is natively just positive & negative 20W 8 ohms. Now as for using 4 per channel after watching this video i will elect the hybrid parallel/serial connection for hopefully a matched 8 ohm impedance. Ditch that 4 wire transformer/amp on back as it is for a comercial low power receiver. At least my understanding of it all. Good luck! I'm installing tomorrow!
