Excellent video, Joren! I have a question! How can I set up a comment trigger for my Facebook ad? I can't see the ad in the "promotable posts" in MC, and "Custom" doesn't always work from what I understand. Thanks in advance!!
@@chatimize But the problem with that would be, that any time someone comments on one of our posts, the comment trigger will fire, right? We have lots of engagement on our other posts on our Facebook page. We only need it to fire on the ad. Is there a way to do that?

Yes, there could be a couple of things: 1. Did you publish the automation in Manychat? 2. Is the trigger enabled in Manychat? 3. If 1 and 2 are set up correctly, it could be because of your connection with your Facebook account. Yes that is okay! You have to permission to send weekly, but that doesn't mean you need to send weekly. Also, the option for weekly Messenger Lists does not exist anymore. Now, everyone is always assigned to the daily one.
Question. What about IG? Do you have to create a separate campaign in ads to work? I get a "...IG does not support this message template. Your ad will only click to Messenger."
I want to DM/message the user automatically when they comment on my Facebook ad. I can’t seem to find my ads in manychat account to connect them, it can only find posts that have been made publicly on my page. Would love to hear your tips for this and if it’s possible? I know you can do it for public posts on Fb/insta but can you do it for an ad where the trigger is a comment?

Yes I know the solution. You should add a tag to anyone that got the first message. Then add a condition that checks if someone has the tag. If someone doesn’t have the tag, then send the message.
Hi! Is it possible to trigger an automation when a prospect comments on an ad? I found the automation for when the prospect comments a Reel or a publication but not an ad. Is it possible to do this with manychat?
