Carry-on 49 wireless shows as input on Midiberry but does not recognize the inputs as I can not see any action on the midi monitor window :( It is such a frustrating thing to face since it is so easy on apple devices. You do not even need any 3rd party apps to make it work with Garageband...
hi i have a 20 year old midi cakewalk program on my win xp sp3 32 bit computer ,which i still do my composition! would the WIDI BE COMPATIBLE TO USE IT ON WIN XP ?? THANKS!!
@tonyricci3522 My XP machine passed on many moons ago now, so I have no way to test, and so I really can't say... But the guys at CME are a really friendly bunch, so it might be worth dropping them your question 😀👍

Thank you for all the explanation, slowly, clearly, excellent, but I have a problem, I do everything you say but my Widi is in green and it does not give me any code as it appears to you to install it, so I have not been able to install it . Please let me know if you know how to solve the problem and be able to install the firmware. Have a great day.
@feigasiedler3979 Widi should be blue, green is firmware update mode (possibly triggered by accidentally pressing the round button on the side of the widi.). If green, switch off midi controller, then turn back on again... Widi should now be blue. Pair the widi with Bluetooth on your phone, install and open the widi app on your phone. Tap on the widi when it appears in the app. A popup message will probably then say there's an update available, so tap on update. At the end of the update the widi should turn blue.

Great video shown at right speed!! One question - do you have any idea why Midiberry sometimes does not show widi-master BT under INPUT (even though under Bluetooth settings it shows connected)? Is there any way to refresh Midiberry (other than Auto-Detect on)?
Sujoy Bose Thanks 😍👍 I've done some testing of Midiberry and the only time the widi master does not show in Midiberry is when Bluetooth is turned off. The widi master shows as paired in the Bluetooth settings and shows in Midiberry even when the widi master is turned off. My suggestion therefore is that there is probably a problem with Bluetooth, rather than Midiberry so try turning Bluetooth off and on again and see if that fixes the problem. Otherwise, it might be worth reinstalling Midiberry, in case there is a problem with it communicating with Bluetooth.

Kevin Valentine Yes, but the increase is very small compared to the latency of your soundcard or audio interface. Personally I didn't find it noticeable.
