Preciate it man I been tryna do this all day 😂😩 idk why Xbox make stuff difficult.. almost as bad as Apple lol.. thanks again bro and I like that setup you have 💪🏽
Hey, great video. I notice the Xbox S Series does not have optical audio but instead uses HDMI. Do you have any other videos showing how to get the sound from an S Series to a Bluetooth speaker (not using phone) 🤷🏻👍
Thanks. It was helpful. The remote option has a lot of latency, but it works. I guess the second approach with the optical cable is more feasible. Well, XBOX Series S doesn't have the optical output.
This was really helpful. Unfortunately the first method won't let you open streaming apps like disney+. I was hoping to watch the new black panther movie on my badass speaker. However the second method looks like it would work out better. Either way thank you for taking time out of your day to post this for everyone.
Hey so I wanted to play connected to my monitor instead of my tv so is there a way to do that to? Cause I want to hear the sound Coming out of the speakers instead of the phone without having to back away from my monitor
I was trying to find a workaround for the fact that I have an ancient tv with no connection features as well as Xbox one; I'm missing the tv remote for the tv so can't control volume from sitting and I'm just tired of having to get up every two minutes to change the volume. Sucks that I can't stream anything with remote play
Great video best info 👍 have watch lots of others this one gave me just what I needed. Just purchased my own Avantree Bluetooth transmitter with soundbar bundle. Keep it real. 💯
So question the USB power can be drawn from any source? Meaning for example, I can plug the USB into a power outlet, PC, near USB strip, and just connect the optical cable to the Xbox?
I have not tested it, but you should be able to connect the transmitter to any power source and it will work. Plugging it in the back of the Xbox is just for convenience.
I've purchase the Bluetooth receiver recommend in your video. I'm trying to connect it to a Bluetooth speaker inside of a new couch I've purchased. you've mentioned to place them as close as possible when pairing. will it pair from across the room? if not what's the best way to go about pairing them???
My tv speaker went out and thought this would work to watch RU-vid with my speaker connected via phone but it doesn’t allow for one to use RU-vid when in remote play 😢
Hey sorry your video, was great, the only thing is huh how do I play my music, with my game it would not let me mute 🔕 game sound, I bought a brand new Xbox controller and there Bluetooth adapter and kids broke it 3 days after buying it so I found a Bluetooth transmitter, and speaker good price if they brake no big deal
Hi can i use the same bluetooth speaker which supports a usb cable and then connect the usb straight to my xbox series s? In that way i do not need the app ?
Unfortunatly not, Xbox Series X|S does not support USB headsets (only a few under license). I have a JBL Charge 5 which I can connect to my PS4 via usb but this does not work with my Series S
Heyo do you know if this works with a mic like does the receiver also transmit audio from the headset to the xbox or can it only take audio from the xbox and give it to the headset?
I tried to connect my Bluetooth speaker to my phone and my phone to my Xbox one I did get some Laydensee...but I haven't tried the transmitter method yet because it looks expensive... the transmitter I Mine...
Couldn’t you just hook the speaker and Xbox up to a different phone (one you not using anymore/ previous phone) so that way there’s no interruption like if somebody call or whatever… just download the Xbox app and other steps like normal.. should work
Yes, the scratchy sound could be your internet, EMI( Electro magnetic interference), or your Bluetooth speaker. But with Bluetooth speakers you should expect some audio/video sync delays.
I would look up the model name and number on google and see how to place your speaker in pairing mode. All Bluetooth speakers should have a pairing mode.
