It is not the android 12. It may be cause by the phone model. Some model does not support this feature

Depending on adapter buy one with power delivery option usually it will have power input female(USBC/a-or different)

If you're question is why it's useful then , it's because normal wifi can fluctuate too much and can disturb your gaming experience by giving high ping or non constant , if we use ethernet it would be very stable ☺️

I think both lan is wifi and that is connected to the internet (wan) plus There has to be a wan be use he used Google, and you get ti wan via lan or maybe pan idk (some personal one-device network)

u can use a regular charging cable ( not all USB cables have this function) connect ur phone to the PC and go to settings (phone settings) and turn usb tethering. this way u will share phone internet to ur PC
