i have an old Sony Bravia LCD tv. i tried the HDMI method but it's not showing the screen. its showing as connected in tv but laptop monitor is not getting extended. i tried changing the F10 option from duplicate to second screen and all but still no result

Mine work last night on doing that, but mine problem is when I watch movies or do stuff the sound get all distorted chop off in middle parts looking like all scramble lines, sometimes colors goes distorted to different kinds then staying normal. Then mouse sometimes moves around a bit woobly is there a setting or something I need to change to fix that area? When mine is Dell laptop Windows 11, Android Roku Smart TV using USB C Cable To HDMI Port
