When you connect your Nest Thermostat to Apple HomeKit it allows you to control your Nest Thermostat with voice commands. In this video we connect the Google Nest Learning Thermostat 4th Gen to Apple HomeKit so that we can control it with Siri voice commands. Once connected you can change the temperature with your voice, and change between heating and cooling modes using voice commands.

How To Connect Nest To Apple Home
1. You need to have your Nest Thermostat set up and connected to the Google Home App. If you have not done this already the video link above will show you how.
2. On the Nest Thermostat go to the Settings menu.
3. Open the settings menu and scroll to the "Matter" Menu and make a selection.
4. Select connect a device with and request the QR code.
5. Use the Apple HomeKit app to scan the code and connect the the device. Click the + symbol to add a device to access the QR code scanning feature.
6. Follow the in app instructions to connect.
