Are you kidding me? This is super handy to know!!!! Gosh, I bet I'm missing out on so much more Trello features and I'm talking about just the free version! Thanks so much!
Awesome. I just canceled my subscription to Unito because they wanted to charge me $50.00/month to do what you just showed how to do for free. Thank you thank you thank you.
This option does exist in the mobile versions of Trello as well. The Android version looks similar to the desktop experience while the iOS version will display these under the Attachments option.
Yet another great video, thanks a lot ! This is great for managing projects the GTD way, woud've been better if we had a nice display of connected card and if we could move them around do you know if that exists ? Thanks !
Thanks, your explanations are clear. Two questions: 1.) Is this available in the iOS version? 2.) What purchase level do you have to be at to get this option?
Thanks for showing this. But what if I have attached the two cards which are in two separate list, but now card 1 will be the one which is progress and card 2 is in list to-do and I want to get rid of card 2 from to-do list as its progress will be taken care from Card 1 ?
Hi Simplicity. I was so excited to see your video and get this function however the option to connect cards is not there on my PC either. I have tried refreshing, logging in and out etc. Do you know what else could be the issue, please? Thanks in advance
i am just discovering trello. a little late to the game. is the version you are using in the video the upgraded version? I am not seeing many of these options on my version. I also realize a lot has happened with it over the last 2 years.
Is there an automated way to do this via Butler? Anytime I attach a card from one to another, it'd be so helpful if they automatically related to each other.
Thank you! I think I may have found the answer to a dilemma I've had for a long time. I need a *free* solution to my urgent wish to have a Board that I would call either "My Dashboard" or "My Cockpit"! I am on Trello Gold. I have many boards for personal stuff, individual clients and groups of clients. Example: a board called "Payroll only clients". Scott, what I want to do is refer to my Cockpit Board daily and be reminded of all tasks I need to do/will soon need to do on all the various boards I use. I tried power-up Mirror which worked OK. The horrendous currency exchange rate (I am in South Africa) sadly necessitated stopping that subscription. May I please ask for your comments or - dare I suggest - for a RU-vid video on creating such a cockpit/dashboard concept? Best regards from lockdown in Cape Town.
Hi there, I really, really need help with an issue. It concerns emails that I forward on into Trello. In particular multiple emails concerning a single subject or project. An example: I am currently converting from ADSL to Fibre in my home/business. I am receiving many emails from my ISP as well as the fibre company. This, of course, results in multiple cards, which I do know can be linked. I want all the emails on a single card. Would I use the card's email address? Would the emails each show as comments on the original card I choose? I may have answered my own question but I would appreciate a comment, Scott :-)
You are absolutely right, Eileen. You can use the card's unique email address to send the email to. This would then show up as a comment within that card. I hope that helps!
Love your videos. Thank you for putting them up! Question - is there a way to connect another board to a card? This way you can have your main board where you track all ongoing projects but perhaps a different board for the bigger projects? Or where you can limit people's access to specific boards but you have the one big board that you can monitor and move around from?
Except for the attachment method the other two seem totally useless to me. In fact I'd even prefer having proper project management style relationship management, such as "preceeds/succeeds", "blocks", "requires" etc. Goot tutorial tho.

I don't know why you wouldn't see this on your end. It may not be availble on all mobile devices. While you can attach the card on mobile, the ability to connect may only appear on desktop versions.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this as well. I can't seem to find a good answer at this point. So if I understand correctly, after you attach the Trello card, there are no other options below? Is that right?
