I agree with you. Apple can shoot them selves in the foot sometimes. But also in a lot of cases they are creating brand new technologies ( or changing the way people apply that technology) and I can see how it would be hard for them to see the flaws with their nose down in their work.
I’m guessing only the beta has it and not the actual iOS 13 because I’m running on the newest iOS and I have 2 ihomes it won’t connect no matter what I do . ... petitions to get Apple to add this feature back
Apple Watch is the same; it could do some amazing things but Apple purposely limits it to try to force people to buy Apple Music subscriptions, air pod etc. Screw you Apple.
@@franchisefred4066 they’ll soon learn. As they did with the PC market..... no one wants or likes monopoly anymore. It’s a dated business strategy. It’s just highlighting their lack of desirable future new product designs. Take the latest iPhone for example. It’s an iPhone 5 improved. Awful.
So basically, if we screw around with bluetooth long enough, sometimes it actually works. I was listening to music with multiple speakers as a young child and now this takes an engineering project to accomplish. (progress!!). :)
I tried this on my IPhone 8 with iOS 14.1. Though it shows two connected speakers in the Bluetooth menu, when I swipe up and open the play app then press it to show the speakers and allow the final connection. I do not get the option of the bubbles on the right hand side of the window to check and complete the process. I have two brand new speakers, one is Goodman’s and the other Moosen. I do not know whether they use Bluetooth 5 or another version. I also realise that they are only average quality. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi there. I’m not seeing the bubbles next to my speakers in control center. Does this mean they aren’t compatible to play simultaneously? Both devices connected to the iPhone Bluetooth. Appreciate any help.
iOS 13 does NOT have this feature if it does then I couldn’t get it working for all my Apple earbuds/headphones & what not. I’ve tried same branded speakers/models still does not work. I even tried the gold to phones close together. Still didn’t work.
I wish that Apple would not have limited this feature to AirPods and beats headphones, I have a crap ton of cheapo Bluetooth speakers laying around that I could use instead of having to purchase even more Bluetooth speakers. Plus, I have some pretty good sounding Bluetooth speakers that also don’t support this feature. My iPhone also only lets me connect 3 Bluetooth speakers to it simultaneously before it bumps one of them off when I try to connect the fourth one.
@@JJ-un8do There are several videos showing how to enable dual audio on Android devices. Did a quick search and found this one. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uB1cLyNDfE4.html
@@Typecast-L I havent thought about this way, I've always thought Apple as wanting people to buy in to their ecosystem. I've been an Apple fan boy all my life, but things like not being able to share music has really frustrated me to no end.
I followed your instructions and tried to connect a bluetooth receiver (connectie to my headphones) and a amplifier with build in bluetooth receiver but both devices appear in the list as 'headphones' in stead of 'speakers' without the 'bubbels next to the name of the devices but in stead √ and only one of them can be activated. (By activering one, the √ of the otherone dissapears). Is there another way to fix this ? F.i. by telling the IPhone that they are no headphones but speakers so that they het bubbels behind their names which then can be activated simultanuasly ?
I think this would only work for the beta version of ios 13. It looks like they never included this function for the final ios 13 nor ios 14 for some reason
Great video and troubleshooting tips. I don’t think iPad OS supports this yet, as I didn’t have the bubbles, however it’s still a fast way to switch between your Bluetooth audio devices, without having to disconnect one

Hi Tommy, I see your video, excellent option you showed me but i got an ipad with 5th gen with IOS 13.5.1 which I am not able connect 2 different bluetooth devices at a time. As it shows in your videa bubble before the speaker not showing for me. Please advise.
I can't pair two Margaritaville speakers together. Do you think it's because they have the same name? I can't change the name either. The only reason we bought two speakers was to sync them outside and have surround sound
I have an iPhone 11. I bought two wireless speakers that are exact. I didn’t buy them at the same time. I connected the second one tonight. But, only one plays at a time. How can I have them both play at the same time?
Yes I’m pretty sure it was only in the beta version of ios 13. It looks like the ability to connect two bluetooth speakers was not included in ios 13 nor ios 14 for some reason :/
So apple doesn't allow that anymore unless its apple devices (airpods, homepods etc). I guess their near total tech dominance just isn't monopolistic enough!
hi i have iphone 12 pro max 256 gig can i still connect both speakers to my iphone is this process still exist is this feature like in the video is it possible or not? Keep me posted, I haven't tried yet
i lost my right airpod gen 2 and broke my left airpod pros and i wanna use left ear gen 2 and right ear gen pros, but they don't seem to be working for me so ig ima be buying another airpod set :C
Hi, I have been trying this with different speakers and it’s not working I don’t have the bubbles to click on it just switches back and forth on the airplay can anyone help me? It would be greatly appreciated lol
I have the latest version of iOS and just got two different onn brand speakers and they are both connected to my phone but when I swipe down to select both of them I only get check marks and the option to have one or the other on and not both 😢 what step should I take next? Where am I going wrong?
The Radio button has been replaced with a checkmark that only allows you to select one Bluetooth device or the other. My iPhone 8 plus is running 15.2.1
I have Bluetooth sunnzo earbuds and I can't get them to connect at the same time with my iPhone SE and I have 13.3.1 pls help also when u open the control center and go to Bluetooth there are no bubbles only checks and it will only play one at a time
