How to connect VVT sensor socket wires Toyota Sienna 2007 2008 2009 2010 2Gr-FE Code P0368

I snapped off the VVT socket wires during a spark plugs replacement for my van. This is how I solved it. If you do.t fix it it may throw a code P0368
This video shows how to reconnect colored wires snapped off bank 1 VVT sensor 2 . This video applies to Sienna models 2007 2008 2009 2010 with 3.5 L engine 2GR-FE. The video explains how to get the new wires connected with the right wire color coming off the main harness by following the harness diagram.
The video also shows options of buying OEM vs. after-market part.

Funny how universal this problem is. I was replacing all 6 plugs and coils and ripped this sensor out too. Thank you so much for this video!

Been dealing with an intermittent P0368 since I bought my 07 es350 a couple years ago. Picked up 4 of these plugs with 3 wires pinned and those heat shrink connectors for $20. Figured it would be good to have some spares for practice and in case I need them in the future. Your video helped me out so much. Job took me 9 hrs because it's so tight back there and I wanted to be extra careful. Finished this 6 months ago and it worked perfectly. Thank You!

replacing the plugs and coil packs on my 2007 Sienna van today and did the same thing!!! it would have been so easy to just disconnect it just didn't see it. This is a HUGE help, thanks!!!!!!

Thank you so much for this video and the color coding. Helped just in time. I ended up pulling back the wrap, stripping the end soldering the wires and using double shrink tube, it worked the first time. This mistake is so easy given the age of the plastics and the tight quarters. My position sensor cracked too. Total $30 to fix on top of the plug/coil replacement job work I did.

That's the camshaft sensor. My 09 Toyota Camry v6 has 3 wire but there yellow red and black how would I know which ones go where

@@PickyOne yeah it's the one in the back underneath the big wiring harness. Its definitely yellow, black and red wires and unfortunately I cant find a diagram anywhere

@@B-S1999 I checked my VVT diagram, I couldn't find this color combination. I deleted my first reply as it may not apply and may confuse some viewers. Try Toyota Nation or Club Lexus forums. Key words like 2gr-fe Avalon 2005 and up.
