Do you have to have a certain app installed on your phone before using the USB/Phone mic selection? My Samsung A32 does not allow the switch (with my phone on Video Pro mode). I think I will need a new phone. I have seen that the PIxel 7A or Samsung S23 can support USB for Mic 2 transfer. Thanks.
When using iphone what setting we must do ? Recording :- Stereo , mono or Safety Channel Receiver gain :- How much DB ? Volume :- DB ? Low cut :- On or Off ? Transmitter gain :- How much DB ? Rec Stop Lock :- Off or On ? Auto record :- Off or On ?
Oh man, I don't think I can answer all these questions, but in general, keep the amplification as low as possible to avoid digital artifacts and distortion. I record in mono and minimize the transmitter gang. If you have a spare 60 to 90 minutes sometime, I would experiment by changing one setting at a time while doing a sample recording and announcing through the audio exactly what setting you are using at the time. That is how I continually refine to find the sweet spot.
Question: when using it with your phone (iPhone for me) will the audio recorded with the DJI mic be the audio you hear from the DJI mic when playing back from my phone? Or will I have to extract the audio from the DJI mic and line it up with the video from my iPhone in a program?
You probably didn’t place the adapter in the transmitter properly. Ensure it fits in tight and good by pushing it all the way in, then try again. I experienced this the first time before finding the solution
To be annoyingly specific, if you are asking whether it works in vertical or horizontal aspect ratios of PRO mode, yes it does. But if you're asking whether it works in portrait video mode, no it does not.
