My friend, hello. I've got problem on my LG G2. WiFi doesnt work. I need to replace it but service says that phone can be burned out.. SO, my question is: I have wifi adapter(not 3g adapter-modem) and OTG cable. Can I use it with this programe?

Well, 1. Yeah, it should work on any android rooted device, with a kernel having ppp support. 2. Since it's like connecting to an Wi-Fi network, I think it's possible to run a 4G modem on a 3G device.

Well, you may try, but it's very strange to do this... I mean, you are already connected to a mobile hotspot itself, the modem dongle, and you want to share the sharing actually. I hope it will work, if I knew the answer I would have told you, but unfortunately I don't.

The flat I rented in Italy offers me a USB internet key, which I cannot use with my ipad. In your video i found i could use it with my celphone (android) but I wanted to know if my phone would allow me to share it with my ipad.
Hi, could you tell me something about the waste of battery (on smartphone) if I don't use a hub USB powered? (I've got a simple OTG cable like the one you're using in that video)
The connection itself drains a lot of battery, and it has nothing to do with the USB otg cable. A powered USB hub helps the connection between the modem and the phone itself because it is self powered and it conducts the connection faster. If you're using a stock one like me you may get disconnected or you may not be able to connect.
after connecting modem with android phone via otg cable the ppp2 widget is showing "configure device..." and hang on the position, don't go ahead. how will i fix the problem?

Thanks for the video, man! I wish it was an automatic connection. I have a tablet installation in my dash and it sleeps/wakes with the ignition key and cuts power to the USB devices in sleep state. Reconnecting every time just isn't ideal. Hmm. Totally cool though!

i followed your tips ...but it's didn't work of my symphony xplorer v80..my phone was root.....when i connect the ppp wedget 2 i saw the modem notification light ....and there was write connect but i couldn't browse anywhere...please help me...
Your device may not be fully supported by PPP Widget. You may also try to play with the settings in the widget like the one referring to the fact that it will disable the sim if you connect.
Este o optiune sa debifezi in setari;e din ppp widget care se refera la deconectarea retelei atunci cand il conectezi modemul, nu mai stiu exact cum se cheama, dar e pe acolo. O debifezi si dupa ar trebui sa revina reteaua la normal. :D

He instalado el PPP Widget 2 en la radio del coche que va con Android 4.0.3, y he conseguido que funcione alguna vez, pero la mayoría de las veces, cuando enciendo la radio, el modem usb Huawei K3765 parpadea everde, en azul, se fija en cyan unos pocos segundos y vuelve a parpadear en azul, sin que me pueda conectar a internet. Alguna idea de por qué puede ser? Muchas gracias!
Maybe the problem is because of my OTG cable.. but it's new i just bought it yesterday.. it worked perfectly fine on my Galaxy Tab S. With the old OTG cable.. i tried both the old and the new one but still not working 😢
La multi ani! Cu ocazia noului an, am o nelamurire eu am instalat si PPP Widget 2 si imi apare sus si scrie ca este conectat dar nu inteleg de nu merge netul. Te rog din suflet sa ma ajuti... P.S. am scris in romana pentru ca am vazut in comentarii si pentru ca digi net mobil😀🙂
