Every time I have my summer holiday, I tell the other project members and my project manager that I will not read any e-mails I receive where I'm in CC. I'm the project weekly meeting facilitator so I even add it to the minutes of the meeting on the last week before my holiday. And for others who are out of office for a longer period of time, I won't send them any e-mails but instead, collect the points needed and send it to them after they come back from holiday.
Not interested in personal issues , all i know is once you're at work it doesn't matter how many notifications you get , and once you're off work the notifications can wait , problem solved
It's up to you - just turn them off. Good lord - it's not very complicated. Just stop replying instantly and just turn off notifications for large chunks of time. Nobody actually owns you and you - and only you - are in control of how much you allow incoming alerts into your day.
