I just finished retooling a Neera deck that definitely goes against the grain of curve (the mana curve is a reverse bell curve) with the help of polymorph/topdeck flavor. The final stage of the deckbuilding iceberg is trying to draw a funny chart with your mana curve graph.

I love that. Very much now want to build with that commander! Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like the curve would look light at like 3-6/7 but would be fat on cheap spells and ramp as well as heinous haymakers? Seems like casting cantrips (like ponder) for cheap and flipping them into like Omniscience would be the game plan!

@@TheBulkhead Yeah the decklist looks pretty much like I cloned Sensei's Top 38 times and put OG Kozilek in there somewhere, but in playtesting I'd drop the Kozliek and draw 4 cards and just look frightening for a second. I had to tone the meme down and add mid drops that create tokens on noncreature spellcasts that way I can churn through the deck and get some payoff and then when the omniscience bomb drops it's the same plan but with no limit
