You can raised a little roof on the pen and also make the pen set up on a rain passage (guitar).

You can just dig a circle trench around the pen and fill it with dirty oil(used engine oil) which is found cheap. Thank you

For old car tyres pen, it’s optimal stocking density is 8 to 10 matured snails.

I’m sure you mean, “how many snails can be installed”. If I’m right, then, The optimal stocking density of matured snails for old car tyres is 8-10.

So you can just find a roofing sheet to cover the top or should install it at a roofed structure.
