Quite informative. I believe I have a diamond face shape mostly. I have been contouring like you suggest for years but with a bronzer. Would like to know where to place blush? Seems I have a small area to put blush just above the contour. Also, is it contour or bronzer, but not both? Thanks for your suggestions.
Hi Lin Yes you can combine a bronzer with a contour but you can also just use a bronzer as a contour product. and for the placement of the blush.. if you don't have a lot of space you can add a little on top of your cheeks or use a bronze or peachy blush with shimmer and blend that towards the have of the contour position :) it hard to explain haha sorry! ill might make a tutorial on that soon :D thank you for watching honey xxx
I have a diamond face with very strong cheek bones and I put a tiny bit of blush right at the back of the apple of my cheek and into the cheek bone just a little I don’t over do it because I hate how angular my face is in that area. I also found some looks for it to look better back on the bone instead of closer to the front depends what look you are going for.
Heather Robinson the triangle is mostly based on another faceshape like in de heart face shape there is a downward triangle in de lower part off the face, the do use the term off a “ triangle” but its a tool for finding out the “true”face shape, I hope that makes sense in a way, but I would definitely love to help you out because I know its hard sometimes to find the right way to contour your face, if you want you can send me a picture off yourself to my email address & I’ll give you some personal advice 💋
My left side of my face is more of a heart shape and the right more of a diamond shape. So, I’m just wondering could I switch the contouring when I do my makeup?

I believe I’m oval for the most part, but my small chin is a little too pointed for my taste. Biggest problem for me is making my cheeks look larger and widening out my chin. HELP! I’m 75 but still a fashinesta
+Andrea Garza I know it can be difficult if you're a combination of multiple face shapes! But most importantly is that you grab a mirror & start looking at you're face features first.. which parts you would like to come more forward & which parts you like to appear smaller or take attention away from, as far as contouring you're hairline.. try to pick a matt bronzer thats not to warm... or to dark.. (depends on you're skin color) start with a little product on you're brush.. then after adding de bronzer go back in with a little more product but then only closer to the hairline(not in it though) 😌, just keep practicing and test out different ways & find the perfect one for you! As far as blush.. dont add it to close to the "'nose more towards de cheeks and try to blend it in with the bronzer or contour product you use, so i blends together in one area but still gives you a little color pop on the cheeks, just keep trying! What face is M Monroe....including forhead/little widows peak and that hairline+nose AFTER her plastic surgery? That is my face and it is in between some of these, No? I don't need contouring or highlighting but when taking pics with a flash it may be good to just super matte bronze the face because you look as pale as possible. I get maybe dusting under the " jaw" but do not know why contouring has to include the hairline? If anyone knows why tjis step can you tell me why?
I was confuse when I am trying to choose spectacles. I found out that there is one differences that made it easier to determine. For diamond face shape, your bottom part (chin area) is almost the same like ur top part (forehead area) while your cheek part is the widest part of your face. For heart face shape, I usually confuse my face shape with that one. However, I notice that, heart face shape can have wider cheekbone / obvious cheekbone but your top part (forehead area) will be wider than your bottom part (chin area) regardless of the cheekbone part.
I think I'm long but round..is that make sense? LoL..all makeup artists I had used or my hairdresser said that I have round face and a lot people says I have a very baby face feature..but my chin and my forehead isn't that short like round face..
According to the video you state that the "Long Face" has more forehead and below the lip chin space. But that doesn't seem to be accurate because I have a long face and my forehead space between my hairline and eyebrows is only the size of 3 fingers and I have a small hand, and the space below my lips is only 2 fingers! So... How would I contour and what would my focus point be if I do not need to reduce any area of my face???
I'm roval heart shape. Tips: For those of us with naturally nice small noses and no undereye issues Pls do not contour/highlight your noses and add on concealer you do not need because you watched make up tutorials. IF you are one of " us" just do half your face with contouring/highlighting what you do not need and leave the othet half undone and then look how much better the undone side looks. Was curious why people always contour into the hairline/ top of the forehead...I GET IT if someone has a large forehead but some of us do not and if we are light blond YOU know it gets into our hair and makes it look orange where it was plat blond before...lol's. Ps. I had a round face I think as a child...most kids do I think. Most opposite to mine is the swuare....is that what Maria Shriver has? OR Angrlina Jolie? I know someone with a " diamond face" shape and hate to say this but that is pretty hopeless. Actually the mid diamond hairline is like mine though...but I have a tiny widows peak...I AM whatever M Monroe face is/ was but AFTER her plastic surgery. Sick of being told I look like her every other day since 14...now I snap at them and say : "Don't think so...as I did not take a knife to this face and look NOTHING like Norma Jean her except maybe the hairline" So that means SHE looked like ME! Alot of people look alike but when you look like someone well known people tell you NON EFFING STOP it is urking especially if that person had a bunch of plastic surgery to look like YOU it does not matter if they are dead or could be your grandmother. Heard the Oval shape is best but I prefer my faceshape/nose...etc...that is not stuck up it is just being greatful and honest. NOT ALL OF you need a bunch of contour/ highlighting....maybe if taking pictures with a flash or a mug shot as those make one look plalid as possible...lol's.
