problem , i dont know where is the problem , is it from the motor drive or the battery , i an using 9v normal battery, and the motor drive is new , it is really confusing

You connected the arduino 5v pin to the output 5v pin of the motor driver but didn't connect the ground of the L298N to arduino GND. I guess this will allow your arduino to be powered by the USB port of the computer and also allow you get live serial monitor readings. But is it dangerous, I want to do this on my project.?

Look at the diagram of the connection at 2:20. Thats the one I used for my presentation and it shows clearly that the ground for the motor driver is also connected to the Arduino board. I realized i didn't show that in my schematic but it's the best practice. Thanks for noticing that.

would be nice if you show connections clearly. hiding makes it unclear. @7:17 is the 9v battery connected? not clear. @5:39 what if you show 1 cm yellow wire [not just tips]?

@@mytectutor offline circuit diagram are different from use. I am not looking for connections, but interested to know voltage impact and saving components
